Indication: Protection against evil spirits and witches (papahawa sa engkanto, sigbin o panulay)
Plant part used: Leaves
Method of Preparation: Get 3 leaves of labigan, 3 leaves of buongon, 3 leaves of kesol. Burn the leaves until these are turn to ashes. Prepare the coconut shell with cinder, oil, "kandelarya" (candle blessed by the priest), Holy Water from the Church, pot, and Latin prayers.
Direction for use: "Ito-ob" - (Burn the coconut shell until it becomes cinders. Get the cinders and put in a pot. Put a little amount of ashes, Holy Water from the Church in the pot. Place the pot under a chair. Let the person sit on the chair and cover him/her with a blanket so that the smoke from the pot is confined inside the blanket. Apply a lilttle oil on the affected area otherwise, do not put any oil at all.
